Shyleena is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). She has been a registered nurse for 13 years and has specialized in mental health throughout her career. She has worked across all spectrums of mental health including acute/inpatient/crisis, outpatient, addiction treatment, as well as transitional and long-term mental health care. She has a master’s in the science of nursing (MSN) and is certified through the American nurses credentialing center (ANCC) for her PMHNP to care for patients across the life span. She became a nurse practitioner to make a more impactful difference in the lives of patients she serves. Her philosophy in care is to work with her patients to develop the best plan of care to reach positive outcomes.
